Southern States Management Group’s Foundation is Accepting Applications

VOLUSIA COUNTY, FL (Tuesday, December 14, 2021) – In March of 2019, Southern States Management Group, Inc. (SSMG) celebrated their 30th year working throughout Volusia and Flagler Counties. As a family-owned Association Management Firm with deep roots in the community, the interest of giving back in a more collective strategic way empowered the Leadership Team to create a private Foundation for the purpose of improving the standard of living for those in need. With funding having a specific emphasis on transitional and permanent housing, physical and mental wellness, and social stability; SSMG believes that funding these areas are paramount for a state of improved livability. More specifically, the overarching goal of the Foundation is to provide financial and in-kind resources that will directly and immediately improve the quality of life of individuals and families in Volusia or Flagler County.

FUNDING HISTORY

The success of SSMG Foundation’s inaugural event, a team scramble golf outing at the Conservatory at Hammock Beach, afforded the opportunity to make a sizable contribution to Family Renew Community in the amount of $30,000.

The next Golf Classic raised even more funds for Family Life Center. A $35,000 check was written to support their outreach programs in Flagler County.

The next fundraiser is scheduled for Monday, May 2, 2022, and the SSMG Foundation is now accepting applications for funding consideration. Organizations need to send the information below to [email protected] with a written request with where and how the funding will be provided locally. Submissions are due by January 15, 2022.
